I am so sorry for your loss of Mark. He was a wonderful man. When Gary and I first moved into our home we always got to talk and giggle in the back yard. It was when I got sick a couple times over the past years, I really got to see how bright a light he was. He took care of me while I was in the hospital and made me feel safe. He sang too. God Bless his mom Angela. Sending Love and Light.

Mark was a special man who I will miss, not only did he take care of me when I was in Bristol Hospital years ago, but whenever I saw him, he made me smile and I enjoyed our talks. The world lost a great person but Heaven truly gained an Angel.

I had the pleasure of working with Mark on G South for many years. He was an awesome nurse. What I recall most fondly is when he was my dad’s nurse. I had spent the day in my dad’s room and had finally gone home for some rest. My phone rang. It was Mark. He told me he had just turned my dad and felt very strongly something was different and I may want to come back. Knowing Mark as I did, I called my brother and we went back to the hospital. It was because of this loving gesture by Mark that my brother and I were at my dad’s bedside a few hours later when my dad passed. I have always been beyond grateful for that gift Mark gave us. I told him so on many occasions. He was so humble. God Bless him and his family always.

I am so sorry for your loss of Mark. I met him while working at Bristol Hospital, I enjoyed knowing him as a friend and co-worker. Later I was happy to see him when working at Interim Healthcare. It seems our lives crossed at various times over the years wether it was work or just meeting by chance in the store shopping. I will miss him.

Our prayers to you Michelle and all of your family.. Mark was a special student who became a great Nurse and always was a special man.. Like everyone else, my heart hurt with this sad news. He will always be remembered as the Connecticut VICA Nursing Assistant champion in 1985, and fond memories of our trip to Arizona for the National VICA Conference. The student became a teacher to our daughter Jennie Rouleau in 2013 when she became a Graduate Nurse on his unit of G-South at Bristol Hospital. Having been employees of Bristol Hospital as well for many years since 1979, We also worked very closely with his Dad, David, in the Emergency Department and other areas of the hospital. God Bless you and we will keep you in our prayers always..

My Deepest Sympathy's! I share your pain in a life gone too soon! He truly was a wonderful person, and will be so missed! I had the pleasure of his aquaintance while working at the hospital, and Just Loved when he would break out in a song! He just brought the warm fuzzies out in you when he would do that! Priceless! It is true that right now there is only pain, but the memories you hold in your heart will "break forth in song again"..when the morning comes. Praying for strength and peace at this difficult time!

Alas, alas, alas. Our dear Brother has fallen. Ancient words to express what is inexpressible. What will our world do without Mark? There is no one to fill his shoes, embody his ministry, and to comfort us... those left behind. Many times, people of greatness live and move amongst us, and while we know and appreciate their greatness... we often don't know just how great they are. Mark was one of these, the great ones: ever humble, gracious, eminently skilled and talented, quietly efficient and thorough, and so filled with love for his fellow human, and for his world. Suddenly, without any warning to soften the blow, our world has become so much smaller, and we hurt. When we are able, which will take a while, we will wholeheartedly give thanks for the gifts and times which were shared with us, Mark's beloved. He touched our souls, and we have been made better for it. Love you.
