Sorry to hear of John's passing. I have fond memories of coaching with him on the sidelines at Bristol Soccer Club and the pashion he had for the game of soccer and life in general. He would instill this in the boys he coached and I am sure they all came away with an appreciation of this and all have become better men now as a result. May he RIP but those lesssons and his passion live on.

7.5 years ago I interviewed for a 2nd shift warehouse position out of college. Johnny and his Supervisor hired me. I've since moved along in my career, but it would have never started if not for him taking a chance on a young guy with no related experience. You always cared about your guys. Thanks for the laughs. I send my condolences to the family. RIP sir.

To The Walker Family,

We just want to say how sorry we are for your loss. Johnny was a selfless man who put others before himself. He was there for my husband when he needed it most. I'll never forget him calling me at work, generally concerned for my husband's well being. Frequently checking in with me to make sure all was ok. His kindness will never be forgotten. We will keep you all in our hearts and prayers. May we see Johnny again when it is our time to leave this earth. I can never thank him enough for what he did for all of us.

Our deepest condolences,
The Middleton Family

Dear Angie, Jordin, Sean, Laurie and all of the Mone family, please accept my sincere condolences for the, too soon loss of my dear brother John. When I think of Johns life on this earth, I have to smile. He was like a jack in the box, always so full of life but every now and then (to survive him) you had to shut down the lid. You only had a minute though because he would be straight back out again, driving you stone mad.
I loved john with all my heart. He was an amazing brother, who always looked out for me and was there for me in times of trouble. His love and expertise with animals always left me in awe from his Great Dane Prince to his beautiful chestnut pony Fair Lady. He also captured the hearts of all his nieces and nephews who couldn't wait for John to return home to Ireland so that they could, as john used to sing to them; "hop hop hop to the lolly pop shop and see how long it takes you" . They would come home wired to the moon with fists full of candy. ❤️ God bless you John, I pray you rest in peace now and I think I will miss you for the rest of my life.
Love always.

Angie, Jordin and Sean, I'm so sorry for all that you are going through. John and I were together from our first days in school sitting side by side to the day he went to America as a young man. John left the comfort of his large family and grabbed the American dream. Growing up in Arklow were the best days of our lives. From ponies, football, tennis, roller discos, pubs, nightclubs, trying to do things at 16 we shouldn't have even contemplated until we were in our mid 20's. When I got married he was the best man anyone could have ever wish for. Missed you then, miss you now and always.

It is with great sadness that we write in memory of this friend, who had a common bond with us. The journey began when John's chips were down and my husband and I developed a soft spot for him because we were Irish and knew about potatoes and music. He helped us pack up our home in Bristol before our move to Houlton, Maine and we had so many laughs. John was brave enough to help me pack my clothes, and as he put it nicely, there were a lot of them. On this past Thanksgiving, I started sending pictures to him from my husband Dennis's family potato farm up here on the Canadian border. He and our friend Cam got a charge out of seeing our new homeland. Dennis and John spent a recent weekend on retreat at Holy Family and they even went out for ice cream in a snow storm. We watched this man go through some stuff and we helped him to come out on the brighter side. The day we were leaving CT back in October, John was standing with Dennis at the end of driveway and I heard Dennis telling John he loved him. I was so emotional I could not get a word out. That is how this man impacted us and he will never be forgotten. We recently talked about The Celtic Women and I told him I'd like to visit Ireland. Of course, he offered to be the tour guide and that was very cool. In a years time I got to know this man and find out how kind and giving he really was. Now he goes on to join so many others we know in Heaven, because he has already gone through hell on earth. Your smile and beautiful kindness will always shine upon those near to you. We won't say goodbye, my friend, it's until we meet again some day. Love you to the moon and back. Dennis & Lynn

John, my friend, I will miss you forever. We talked often about the grace, mercy, and forgiveness of our Lord, and I know that you will be sitting along side him soon. Although I so wish that you had had the strength to hold on to witness his loving power for you on this earth, I understand that your pain was far too great, and obviously so did our Lord, as he allowed you to take your journey home long before your life on earth was complete.
Despite your troublesome times, your beautiful heart, kindness, and immeasurable gifts of guidance to so very many, will be your legacy to countless people, including me. Your knowledge & heartfelt love for animals is also something Griffin & I will never forget. Thank you!
My most sincere condolences to Angie, Jordan, and Sean. Live on & hold tight to only the most beautiful memories.

John Walker you where one in a million never to be repeated. You never failed to put a smile on my face or have me in stitches laughing. Our long phone calls which involved laughing and debating you could not write but the end result was always the same nobody knew more than Johnny. You gave the walker family a reason and the opportunity to visit the USA and made those holidays ones to remember from amusement park to swimming in pools to watching Sean play baseball and making smores in bakgarden (in which I robbed your dairy milk chocolate to make better smores). Your vacations back to ireland where the highlight of our summer's counting down the days till all of you arrived however by far the best thing was you gave Jordin and Sean myself and Michael and all the walker cousins an opportunity to know each other and create memories growing up. John buddy once again you where one in a million and I love you to pieces and I always will. Love you John sleep well and say hello to Jack and Tony for us.

RIP John - this is the hardest mail I have every written. What can I say about you that not already been said. We are here remembering all the good times we had over the years, all the laughs and tears. As a family we had a number of great holidays with yourselves and we all look back on them with great memories - making smores, watching soccer games, going to Seans baseball games and too many more to mention. You always made sure we a good time and went above and beyond - the first time we went to see you Jordin was 3 months old and you hired a Limo to collect us and bring us to the airport, we were so impressed. It was very important to you that Jordin and Sean know their Irish cousins and family and I think you achieved that in spades. We will miss you with all our hearts, miss your phone calls, miss you looking for chocolate and tayto and not forgetting the wine gums. Thank you so much for being you, a good husband, father, son and brother. May you rest in peace, love you always - Elizabeth and Willie

Mere words can't describe what you meant to me and the memories we shared as a family. All of the visits to see you, Sean, Jordin and Angie with pure excitement running through us all on the plane over and tears in our eyes on the way back.
I remember the constant laughs and the soccer lessons given to me and Sean, even when we didn't necessarily want them we were going to be taught.
I remember constantly having to defend my decision to support Liverpool, a decision you constantly tried to get me to change with little success, on those long phone calls filled with laughter and love.
I learned very early in my life that nobody knew better than Johnny Walker and that nobody knew more than Johnny Walker. I was and still am in awe of you as my uncle, my godfather and my hero. You were larger than life to me and a guiding light whenever my way was dark.
I love you always buddy
