It has been one of my greatest privillages to know this man as well as a pain in my rump sometimes while we were working together at Specialty Foods. We have kept in touch personally when he and Darla lived in Appilacian, NY. and by phone where ever he went. Harlan will reside in that soft spot in my heart, the one reserved for puppies and kittens, and in my mind for as long as I live. I will miss you and our phone calls ever so much. RIP until we meet again. JIM

Harlan - "HP" - a truly unique and unforgettable man! A tough exterior; a heart of gold; quick wit; funny jokes; great handyman skills; love of pets and of course, Darla. This picture captures the essence of his personality - all who knew him will see that. May God rest his soul and fond memories comfort those he left behind.
