Elliott Harlow

Elliott A. Harlow, 91, of Bristol, a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the Pines of Bristol with his family by his side. Elliott was born in Rocky Hill on August 6, 1932 and was the son of the late Alfred Sr. and Velma (Freeman) Harlow. Elliott was a hard working man who loved to keep busy. He retired from Industrial Builders of Bristol Ct, as a construction worker and heavy equipment operator. In his free time, you could find Elliott fishing on his favorite river, pond or lake, watching UConn women basketball games and enjoying his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was very proud of his family and their many accomplishments. Elliott is survived by his four children; David Harlow of Bristol, Catherine Gale and her husband Leonard of Plainville, Deborah Couture and her husband Armand of Bristol, and Richard Harlow and his wife Carol of Bristol. He is also survived by his 6 grand children, 9 great-grandchildren, a sister Barbara Sirrine of West Hartford and several nieces and nephews. Elliott was predeceased by his son Michael Harlow, his wife Catherine (Lynch) Harlow, two brothers, Alfred Jr. and Calvin Sr., a step-brother Ernest and two sisters, Adeline and Vivian.
