Anthony Nadeau

The Lord called his loving son, Anthony Nadeau, 32, of Collinsville, home peacefully in his sleep on Sunday (December 3, 2017). Anthony was born in Bristol on June 2, 1985, to Donald and Francesca (Ciccarelli) Nadeau. After high school Anthony answered the call of duty and served honorably and faithfully in the United States Air Force. Upon returning home he worked passionately as a heavy machine operator hoping to one day put his skills to use helping those affected by natural disasters throughout the country. When Anthony wasn’t working he enjoyed spending his time as an active outdoorsman whether it was target practice with his bow, hiking or snowboarding. He also had a passion for cooking and especially eating good food. He was also an avid reader and could be found with a good book in hand. In addition to his parents, Anthony is survived by his paternal grandmother: Angelina Nadeau of Bristol; brother and sister-in-law: William and Claire Nadeau of Torrington; fiancée: Jill Stross; six uncles and seven aunts: Ovleto and Susan Ciccarelli of Wells, VT, Arman Ciccarelli and Valerie Vitale-Ciccarelli of Wells, VT, Mauro and Donna Ciccarelli of Ashland, MA, Carla and Thomas Bisson of Harwinton, Douglas and Mary Nadeau of Bristol, David and Denise Nadeau of Harwinton, Donna Nadeau of Bristol; cousins: Alessandro, Alyssa, Andre and Alan Ciccarelli, Lauren Varanelli and Nicole Bisson, Andrée, Arianna, Nina, Michelle and Stephanie Ciccarelli, Michael Nadeau, Maria Ragali, Angela and Joseph Nadeau. Anthony was pre-deceased by his brother: Jonathan Nadeau. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Barnes Memorial Chapel, 49 Pound St., Bristol, on Saturday (December 9, 2017) between 10 and 11 AM. Funeral services with military honors for Anthony will follow at 11 AM at the Barnes Memorial Chapel. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
