Dad and Karol, I'm so sorry to hear of Al's passing. I know how much you loved him. He was always such a nice man to me when I was growing up. I have a lot of fond memories that were made at his and Allison's house. To my little sisters: I love you guys, and I'm so sorry you lost your Grandpa.
Love,
Kristin

I was sorry to hear of the passing of my uncle. I don't remember him very well as we lived so far apart. My sympathies to the families, may you find comfort in his memory.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Alton oakes. Growing up I remember going to their house on birch street and seeing them at altons brothers house, Phillip oakes, who lived across the street from us on Dewey ave. The whole family was and is the nicest people to ever meet. Even after not seeing them for many years, they still would give hugs and smiles like it was only yesterday when we last saw each other. RIP Mr. Alton oakes, it was a pleasure to have known you. God bless you and god bless your family😇😇😇💕💕💕

This is such a bittersweet occasion. Tears come, yes, but smiles do as well. My fondest memories of my uncle are the times I spent with him and Karen, going back over 50 years ago. He made me feel like his second daughter. He, Karen, and I were together it seems all the time. He was my second dad. I will miss him dearly. My heart goes out to my precious Aunt Allison, Karol, and all family members. Family is to be cherished. Love Priscilla
Message from Darlene Bilodeau I just wanted to say he was the the best father in law that anybody could ask for and I will miss him more than I can express. My prayers are with the family always

I had the pleasure of having Thanksgiving dinner at Mr. Oakes's home less than two weeks ago. I'd met and spoken with him only a few times prior to that. On that Thanksgiving Day he treated me like he'd known me for a long time and made me feel very comfortable. He and I talked about old cars and motorcycles for some time. It was an absolute pleasure to have known him!
