Obituary for Carol D. Anderson
Carol (DeKow) Anderson, 67, of Bristol, died on Saturday (March 6, 2010) at her home. Carol was born on November 29, 1942 in Bristol and was a daughter of the late Clyde DeKow and Bernice (Dewey) DeKow Paradis. A lifelong Bristol resident, she graduated from Bristol Central High School and was employed at General Electric prior to retiring. Carol is survived by two brothers and a sister in law, Carl DeKow and Chip and Alice DeKow, all of Bristol; several nieces and nephews; and her good friend, Micheline Fortier of Bristol. A private graveside service will be held. There are no calling hours. The family would like to acknowledge the tremendous care provided to Carol by Dr. Jack Adler and his staff, by Bristol Hospital Hospice, and especially the efforts of Micheline Fortier and her sister, Chantal Michaud.
